  • Identity Data: includes first name, last name, username or similar identifier.
  • Contact Data: includes email address and telephone numbers.
  • Vehicle Data: includes license plate number and state of registration.
  • Financial Data: includes payment card details (processed securely by our payment providers - we do not store your full card details).
  • Transaction Data: includes details about payments to and from you and other details of parking services you have purchased from us.
  • Technical Data: includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.
  • Usage Data: includes information about how you use our website and services.

3. Third-Party Authentication (Google Sign-In)

We offer the option to sign in using your Google account. When you choose to authenticate with Google, we receive the following information from Google:

  • Email address: Used as your account identifier and for communication.
  • Name: Used to personalize your experience.
  • Profile picture URL: Used to display your avatar in the app.
  • Google ID: A unique identifier used to link your Google account to your E-Park account.

We do not receive or store your Google password. Google's use of your information is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account settings.

4. How We Use Your Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • To process and manage your parking reservations.
  • To send you booking confirmations, reminders, and receipts via SMS and email.
  • To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
  • Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.
  • Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
  • Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.

5. Data Sharing

We may share your personal data with the following parties:

  • Parking facility operators: To fulfill your reservation (name, vehicle information, booking details).
  • Payment processors: To process your payments securely (EPSG Secure).
  • Communication providers: To send you SMS notifications (Twilio) and emails.
  • Authentication providers: Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.

6. Data Retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Booking records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal purposes.

7. Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
  • Secure password hashing using bcrypt.
  • HTTP-only cookies for session management.
